Project Description

Local woodworker Shawn Herzog needed an identity and an online presence to sell his handmade furniture and household items.

The name of his company, Esquiness, provided a challenge to us, as it really doesn't mean anything being a merging of two descriptions. Mr. Herzog developed the name many years ago "In a drunken state" according to Herzog.

Through studying his one of a kind style and handmade work, we developed the concept of a fingerprint which also resembles the grain of the wood used in his projects.

A double meaning for a double edged word.

Project Scope

Integrated visual concept and creation include portable logo, website, printable materials, and all web and print elements.

Use of fingerprint concept on all handmade items.
